The aim of 'Reach High II' is to provide recently graduated doctoral students the opportunity to propose research projects with a Higher Education Institution in Europe within a varied set of prioritised fields:

• Green, Digital and Innovation
• STEM
• Smart Specialisation

Support will also be provided to address the evolving development needs and challenges characterising Maltese society, in line with Malta's national priorities.

Selected research projects will be provided with a Post-Doctorate Research Grant, intended to help build research clusters of excellence in areas that complement the National Research and Innovation strategy.

The deadline is Friday 1 December 2023.

Applications are to be submitted by the PostDoctoral Researcher.

Please note that confirmation of a Host Institution and Supervisor need to be determined at application stage. A letter confirming the acceptance of the applicant by the host institution, assuring the required conditions for the suitable development of the research will be met and that laboratory space and access can be provided (where applicable) will need to be provided by Friday 29 March 2024.

An information session by the Ministry for 'Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation' will be held online on Tuesday 17 October at 17:00.
