The Department of Geosciences of the Faculty of Science at the University of Malta is offering a maximum of THREE (3) scholarships to potential applicants of the MSc in Applied Oceanography course being offered over the October 2024-September 2025 academic year.
The scholarships consist of an individual grant of €2000 to each successful applicant, which will cover the settlement of the bench fees due for the same Course. The recipient of the scholarship would still need to transfer the tuition fees due to the University of Malta for the same Course, for a total of €400. Only course applicants hailing from EU/EEA countries are eligible to avail themselves of this scholarship, given that no bench fees are expected from non-EU/EEA applicants.
Interested candidates should apply for next year’s MSc in Applied Oceanography online, and should email the Coordinator of the same course (Prof. Alan Deidun) to express their interest in availing themselves of the scholarship opportunity. Only candidates who have fully completed their online course application process will be considered eligible for the scholarship opportunity.
Deadline for submissions: 15 March 2024, following which all course applications received by then will be evaluated as per University of Malta course regulations. A selection panel will then be established by the University of Malta so as to assess the scholarship applications submitted by candidates who have been accepted to join next year’s MSc in Applied Oceanography.
Successful candidates will be contacted about their scholarship application by 15 May 2024 by the latest.
