The University of Malta Magnetic Resonance Imaging (UMRI) platform is happy to announce the launch of its new membership program, which aims to foster a local medical imaging community primarily focused on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Individuals with interest in medical imaging particularly in MRI are able to apply for membership with the UMRI platform online.
The UMRI membership is targeted to clinical healthcare professionals, researchers, students, and other members of the general public with particular interest in MRI. The aim is to establish a local MRI community which would allow platform members to connect and collaborate with other professionals in the field of MRI. Apart from this, membership to the UMRI platform would entail access for use in research projects to the UM MRI scanner, and equipment, access to documentation related to MRI data pre-processing and analysis, access to UMRI newsletters and announcements, and eventually upon appropriate ethics approval, access to MRI data acquired from the UM scanner. The platform aims to host educational and training sessions, to ensure that members stay at the forefront of MRI technology and allow members of the platform to present their work in front of other professionals in the field.
UMRI invites all researchers with a UM affiliation, including students, interested in MRI to join this new scientific community. By becoming a member, you will be part of a community dedicated to advancing MRI research and making significant contributions to the field.
More information about the UMRI platform or membership is available online, or by sending an email.
