The St John's Co-Cathedral Foundation is pleased to announce a Call for Abstracts for the Malta-Pisa Conference 2024, titled Sacred Art Conservation as a Vehicle of Re Evangelisation: European Cathedrals – Malta. The conference will be held at the Casino Maltese in Valletta, Malta, on 8–9 May 2025.
The conference will explore how sacred art, and architecture can be revitalised for contemporary society, and how conservation efforts can serve as a vehicle for re-evangelisation. Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings. The conference and all papers must be presented in English.
Interested applicants must submit the Application Form, which includes:
- The paper title
- A short bio (150 words)
- An abstract (300 words)
The completed form and abstract must be submitted no later than 10 February 2025.
All submitted forms and abstracts will be reviewed by the conference committee.
