The Mediterranean Institute will be launching its new research strategy and Key Research Areas:
1. Democratisation, Displacement and Development: Politics and social change in the Mediterranean
2. Body, Health and Food: Paradigms of sensuality in the Mediterranean
3. Belief, Identity and Exchange: Unity and Difference in the Mediterranean
4. Space, Narrative and Memory: Postcoloniality and Representation in the Mediterranean.
As part of its strategy to promote the development of consolidated cross-disciplinary research on the Mediterranean, the Institute would like to invite staff members from all the University to apply to join the Institute as Research Associates within the identified priority areas.
An event will be held on Friday 16 December, at 12:00 noon, to discuss the strategy and provide further detailed information regarding the new Research Associate and Affiliate roles at the Mediterranean Institute (ir-Razzett tal-Ħursun) building. Light refreshments will be provided. All interested members are invited to attend.
