In view that essential electrical services feeding the Mater Dei Hospital pass through the New Residences Project site, it has become necessary to excavate a trench to divert and lay said services through the road as one enters the University from the Main Entrance, naturally in anticipation of the commencement of the New Residences Project. As such a new traffic arrangement will come into effect as from 5 January 2019 up till 28 February 2019.

Entrance to the University of Malta Msida Campus will only be permitted from the Sports Area Entrance (East Gate) and the Old Main Entrance (South Gate), whilst Exit will only be permitted from the Main Entrance (West Gate) and the Sports Area Entrance (East Gate).
