Google has announced plans to revise their storage policy for Google Workspace for Education which will limit the storage available to the University of Malta for Google Drive, Shared Drives, Gmail and Google Photos for staff and students. As a result of the planned change, new Google Workspace storage quotas will need to be introduced in the near future. We will let you know when we have more information.
In order to prepare for these storage quotas you are required to take these actions:
- Please review your current Google Workspace storage usage and delete any unnecessary files from Google Drive, Shared Drives, Gmail or Google Photos.
- May we remind you that Google Workspace is provided for purposes related to the University of Malta. Therefore, please ensure to delete any files that are not related to your work or studies at UM/JC.
