Systematic reviews guides
We compiled a set of LibGuides on conducting systematic reviews.
A systematic review is a type of literature review guided by a protocol, focusing on a specific research question. It collects all relevant studies related to the topic, transparently and objectively extracting and analysing their data. While mostly used in the fields of health and medical sciences, these types of reviews can be conducted in any discipline.
Guides are available on the Library website.

What's new in Melitensia
Melitensia's Resource of the month – January 2024
Maltese Mythology by Stephan D. Mifsud, published by Merlin Publishers.
It's an illustrated reconstruction based on Manuel Magri’s "Précis de Mythologie Maltaise. This book delves into Manuel Magri's project legacy, exploring the journey through Maltese culture that was left incomplete and forgotten over a century ago. It discusses Maltese folklore, which eventually leads to the stories of mythological relics, forming the (Maltese) mythology that bridges the gap between imagination and history.
The list of new Melitensia acquisitions is available online.
