The Dean, Deputy Deans and Heads of Department of the Faculty for Social Wellbeing at the University of Malta note with sorrow and mounting concern the disquiet being caused by insinuations of bad faith on the part of the judiciary in respect of the timing and content of the Vitals enquiry findings.
This rhetoric is dangerously provocative, undermining public confidence in the judiciary and depriving it of the serenity with which it must be allowed to conduct its work.
We appeal for everyone to desist from this rhetoric for the immediate and longer-term common good.
