"Through the RIDT Doctoral Student Travel Grant, I was able to attend two transport geography conferences between the 24 – 31 August 2024. Attending these conferences in Dublin and London significantly enriched my studies by exposing me to the latest research and networking opportunities. The funding allowed me to engage with other PhD students and Academic and gain valuable insights into sustainable urban mobility, and policy implications, which directly inform my academic work. Additionally, the experience broadened my professional network, connecting me with researchers who have provided guidance, support and potential collaboration opportunities."
