Joseph is a visiting lecturer in Marketing at the University of Malta. He completed his MBA at the University of Malta and is a qualified IT professional. Joseph's experience spans various areas in marketing ranging from business start ups to international marketing, having worked with various IT and retail oriented firms in a local and international context.
Joseph is currently Administration and Marketing Manager at a 202 Jewellery - a renowned fast growing retail operation. Prior to this role, Joseph established a successful IT business for a local conglomerate. In this role, Joseph set up and maintained important business-to-business marketing operations targeting a range of large scale local and international organizations like HSBC, BOV, Malta Enterprise, University of Malta, Malta International Freeport, GO, Westin Dragonara and Mater Dei Hospital, along with various governmental ministries as well as project organizations like CHOGM 2005.
Joseph has a keen interest in international marketing and the global business environment. Throughout his career, Joseph has led various international projects involving the attraction of international suppliers to work in Malta, international business-to-business campaigns as well as participating in multi-national consortia working on pan-European projects. Joseph is also a lecturer at the Institute of Tourism Studies as well as Middlesex University where he teaches different areas of marketing and business administration.
