Before joining the Department of Foreign Languages at Junior College, Josette Tabone had a career as a teacher of German at secondary and post-secondary level institutions, acted as a subject coordinator and was also Head of Department for German. She also taught German at various higher and further education entities and lectured within the Department of Languages and Humanities in Education (Faculty of Education) at the University of Malta.
She read for her undergraduate degree at the University of Malta which she followed with a Master of Arts. She currently also lectures within the Department of German at the University of Malta. Her research interests include the teaching of German as a foreign language (DaF) and higher and further education.
