Muhammad Sadiq (Member, IEEE) received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan, in 2024, with research conducted as a visiting scholar at the University of Zilina, Slovakia, on the ERAdiate+ project focusing on Intelligent Transport Systems. He completed his M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2019 and his B.S. in Textile Engineering from BUITEMS, Quetta, Pakistan, in 2014. With professional experience as an assistant spinning manager at Nishat Chunian Ltd. and an elementary school educator in Pakistan, Sadiq is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Malta. His research interests include decarbonizing the maritime sector through microgrids, electric vehicle (EV) charging control, and sustainable technologies for green seaports.
