Prof. Ing. Owen Casha received the B. Eng. (Hons) degree from the University of Malta in 2004 with First Class Honours. In the same year, he joined the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering (Faculty of Engineering) as a Post Graduate Trainee. In 2007 he was appointed as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Microelectronics and Nanoelectronics (Faculty of ICT). He received a Ph.D. in Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit Design from the University of Malta in 2010. From September 2007 till June 2008, he was on a research collaboration with CEA-LETI (Grenoble, France) and ST-Microelectronics, as part of his doctorate studies. His research interests are low voltage low phase noise radio frequency oscillators and synthesizers, design of high speed integrated circuits and RF MEMS design. Dr Casha is currently an Associate Professor.
