I am an Assistant Lecturer at the Centre for English Language Proficiency. I lecture on the ECA programme. My main research interests are in sociolinguistics, in particular critical discourse analysis, discrimination, and language and identity.

Having completed the Cambridge Delta during my career in the EFL industry, I read Linguistics at the University of Malta prior to doing a Master’s in English at the University of Oxford. I am currently doing research for a Ph.D. at the University of Malta, where my main focus is on xenophobic discourse in Malta.
