Stefan joined the University in June 2007 as a Library Assistant. After one and a half years with the University Library, he was promoted to Assistant Librarian and moved to MATSEC in March 2013 where he was Secretary and Administrative Assistant to the Arts & Languages Dept. In January 2014, Stefan moved to the Institute for European Studies where he served as an Administrative Assistant and Personal Assistant to the Director working on event planning and logistics, EU funded projects and office administration.

In February 2017, Stefan was promoted to the grade of Administrative Officer and is the Officer in Charge (Documentalist) of the European Documentation Centre (hosted by the Institute for European Studies).


Stefan is in possession of a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Maltese and his research focused on 19th century Maltese comic theatre.
