The European Researchers’ Night aims to engage with citizens of all ages to raise awareness about research and its impact on society and to put outreach skills to practice. It brings researchers closer to the public, promoting excellent research projects across Europe and beyond, increasing the interest of young people in science and research careers, and showcasing the impact of researchers’ work on people’s daily lives. Adrian Francalanza, from the University of Malta, was one of the representatives for the “Meet the Researcher” event. He was interviewed on what attracted him to his field of research and on how his research will impact the community at large. Full videos can be found here and here.
