This credit-bearing programme results from collaboration between the University of Malta, which coordinates and organises the programme, and 6 universities: Goldsmiths College, University of London, University of Nova Gorica, University of Minho, University of Florence, University of Cagliari, and University of Carthage.

“Mediterranean Imaginaries: Literature, Arts, Culture”, provides a forum for the discussion of literature and culture from and about the Euro-Med area, including writing  from non-EU countries such as Egypt and Tunisia.

The Intensive Study Programmes in 2017 and in 2018 will cater for post-graduate students at M.A. and Ph. D. levels who will have the opportunity of attending lectures by leading experts in different areas of literature, theory, cultural criticism and visual cultures; as well as and from different disciplines such as history and philosophy. Through the 10 days of Intensive Study Programme, students will attend plenary lectures given by specialists in the mornings and they will participate in specialist workshops every afternoon.
