The University of Malta (UM), in collaboration with Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), have been awarded 4 million euros in research funds from the EU EIC Pathfinder Cardiogenomics Challenge programme for the project, TargetMI: A Multi-Omics Approach for Novel Drug Targets, Biomarkers and Risk Algorithms for Myocardial Infarction.
