The course is spread over one semester of part-time lectures and is offered in Malta.
Prospective candidates should have a good knowledge of the English Language and should have at least an ordinary level standard of Education or equivalent.
The course will commence in October 2024 subject to there being sufficient number of qualified applicants. At the end of the lectures, candidates will be required to sit for an examination of two hours.
Applications may be submitted by 16 September 2024 against an application fee of 260 Euro.
This type of course is aimed for Personnel from the Civil Protection Department, Malta Armed Forces, Bank Employees, Malta Police Force, Medical and Casualty Response Personnel as well as other members of Voluntary NGO’s which regularly assist and participate in Emergency Operations such as the St. John Rescue Corps, St. John Ambulance and the Malta Red Cross. The course may also be of interest to other government departments and private companies which cater for a large number of employees.
