At the University of Malta (UM), we are full-fledged university with fourteen faculties.
Our students and alumni praise the expertise our faculty staff in the humanities area which has a solid tradition at UM. This reflects our belief that courses in humanities should focus on languages, culture and creativity.
At sometimes prospective students who would like to take a course in this area might have a dilemma… Is this degree worth the work? What are my chances of landing on a rewarding career following my course?
In view of these common dilemmas our course coordinators strive to help students to come up with creative research ideas to be able to move across disciplines more freely. This flexibility provides subsequent employment opportunities for our alumni.
We offer degrees in a number of humanistic areas. In fact one of our top faculties, the Faculty of Arts, offers a wide range of BA and BA (Hons) degrees and Masters by research. In addition, we offer courses in Communications and Media, Education and Performing Arts at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Our foundation course prepares students to gain access to the undergraduate humanities courses at UM.
