Publishing Credentials
The Malta Medical Journal is composed of the editor, editorial board, a senior secretary and a technical secretary with responsibility for journal layout. The MMJ has been published as the MMJ since 1989, and for decades before that as a Malta hospital journal (such as the St. Luke’s Hospital Gazette). The MMJ is the only Maltese general medical journal, and considers papers that deal with all aspects of medicine and the allied health care professions. The journal has always been free and was formerly mailed (at no cost) to all doctors in Malta. The journal is now entirely online and remains open-access.
