Ilwien Childcare Centre

Ilwien Childcare Centre opened its doors on 21 October 2013 in order to make it easier for parents and guardians of pre-school children to study or work at the Junior College and to serve as a centre for research in Child Development & Early Childhood Education. Today, the general public may also avail itself of this service.

At Ilwien, a maximum of 24 children can be accommodated, and currently there are 4 groups named Poppies, Dahlias, Daisies, and Lillies. In the Early Years Setting, the ratio of adults to children are of a maximum of 6 children to an adult in the case of children over 18 months, or else 5 children between 13 months and 2 years.
