| Abstract: | This detailed study of the manuscripts containing the pastoral visitations made to the churches of Imqabba from 1575 to 1699 reveals a information about images of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary found in these churches and which do not exist any more. This is the first time this information is being presented critically and chronologically in one article. |
