Abstract: | Two addresses delivered on occasions similar to the present, have been already published. The following sheets, contain a Third, intended to have been spoken at once, but which it was thought more convenient to deliver on two separate days. For the purpose of reading, however, the intended connection is here restored. Trial by jury is an institution so important, in its essential principle, that every modification of it, in practice, becomes interesting to the philosophic Lawyer. |
