| Abstract: | This paper seeks to present the ways and means how museum repositories can become alternative and complementary objects-based resources in their own right. My discussion presents a broad overview of the ways and means how the repository idea has evolved in recent times. I also discuss the potential bespoke experiences that may, on one hand, continue to be grounded in the traditional function and purpose of the repository albeit, on the other hand, more empowered by technology, the ambition to democratise and empower accessibility.
