This is to Certify that the Hon: M.A.M. Mizzi, formerly of the Council of the Government of Malta, has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ninth International Congress of Orientalists, for his " Valuable communications on the Maltese Language and on the History of Malta. "

Che terminata tale Lettura-la quale venne accolta con aeclamazione e plauso-segui una discussione generale., portata a, termine da un discorso del Prof: .Abel, quale delegato del Governo Tedesco, ed il quale propose il voto "per la pubblicazione integrale del lavoro :" quale voto venne accolto con acclamazione.
