Abstract: Tutti in maschera (All in Mask) is a lyric comedy in four acts by Carlo Pedrotti. The libretto is by Marco Marcelliano Marcello, based on the 1759 comedy L'impresario delle Smirne by Carlo Goldoni. It was premiered at the Teatro Nuovo, Verona, on 4 November 1856.
A rich Turk (AbdalĂ ) who lands in Venice is interested in forming and contracting a company to the East and paying all their expenses. Naturally, all actors want to be introduced to him. He organizes a Masked Ball, where a lot of confusion occurred due to the masks and where the Turk distributes the contracts to the whole troupe. The plot also contains a romantic element between Emilio and Vittoria.
