| Abstract: | Caterina Howard is a tragic melodrama in four acts. Catherine Howard, fifth wife of Henry VIII, accused of having led, before her marriage to the king, a very licentious life, as well as of having betrayed her conjugal faith, was condemned after a few months of reign to suffer the same penalty, to the which several years before the unhappy Anne Boleyn had been damned. |
