dc.description.abstractFausta è un'opera di Gaetano Donizetti su libretto di Domenico Gilardoni. L'opera debuttò il 12 gennaio 1832 al Teatro San Carlo di Napoli. La trama: Fausta, seconda moglie di Costantino, confessa il suo amore alla figliastro Crispo, che è innamorato della prigioniera Beroe. Lo ricatta e fa credere infine al marito che è Crispo a corteggiarla, costringendolo all'esilio. Massimiliano, ex imperatore e fratello di Fausta, trama alle spalle di Costantino.en_GB
