| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Impresa Ines Cantoni present the programme for the 4-act opera "La Favorita", written by Alphonse Royer and Gustave Vaëz, with music composed by Gaetano Donizetti, and translated to Italian by F. Jannetti. The performance featured an orchestra conducted by Loris Gavarni and was part of Manoel theatre's Grand Opera Season 1962, which was produced by Augusto Cardi, and held in November, 1962, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta. |
