dc.description.abstractNabucco, abbreviazione di Nabucodonosor, è un'opera in quattro atti composta nel 1841 da Giuseppe Verdi su libretto italiano di Temistocle Solera. Il libretto è basato sui libri biblici di 2 Re, Geremia, Lamentazioni e Daniele, e sull'opera teatrale del 1836 di Auguste Anicet-Bourgeois e Francis Cornu. L'opera fu rappresentata per la prima volta al Teatro alla Scala di Milano il 9 marzo 1842.en_GB
