Abstract: In this paper, the authors present an overview of the current creative economic proposals and initiatives. The main interest of the authors is to establish how these policy proposals that are being promoted or projected can be beneficial and captured so as to benefit the Maltese Islands, incoming Tourism market. A case study approach was chosen: ‘Taste History’ is a product designed and developed by Heritage Malta. The ‘Taste History’ experience will be evaluated using the THEME framework, which was presented by Pine and Gilmore (2011) as the basis for the design of the tourism experience.
