| dc.description.abstract | Rakela Camilleri kienet strumentali biex is-Soċjeta tad-Duttrina Nisranija titħawwel u tikber fid-Djoċesi t'Għawdex. Hija twieldet in-Nadur fid-29 t'Ottubru 1889. Jiġifieri kienet biss disa' snin iżgħar minn Dun Ġorġ. Hija għexet għalhekk fl-istess żmien Ii fih għex Dun Ġorġ Preca, u fil-fatt kienu jibgħatu ħafna ittri lill-xulxin. Għall-ħabta tal-1914 Rakela flimkien ma' tfajla oħra min-Nadur, Pawla Grech, kienet bdiet tiġbor it-tfal u tgħallimhom il-kant u d-duttrina. Din Pawla darba kellha bżonn tmur Malta, u ħabiba tagħha mil-Ħamrun ħaditha biex tkellem lil Dun Ġorġ. Dun Ġorġ għaraf il-ħidma ta' Pawla u Rakela u ngħata bidu għall-M.U.S.E.U.M. f'Għawdex. Wara li ngħataw il-permessi meħtieġa, il-MUSEUM fil-fatt beda nhar il-15 ta' Settembru 1915. Pawla Grech ma kinietx baqgħat fis-Soċjetà, u kien għalekk li Rakela mexxiet il-MUSEUM t'Għawdex waħidha. | en_GB |
