Abstract: Manoel Theatre, and the British Council present the programme of an orchestral concert by the Commander-in-Chief Orchestra, conducted by Joseph Sammut, led by Alfons M. Vella, and starring pianist Josette Grech Mercieca. The concert featured musical works by Maltese composers Antonio Nani, Charles Camilleri, and Carmelo Pace. The performance was held on the 2nd of October, 1965, at the Manoel theatre in Valletta.
