Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art present the programme of the 3-act comedy "Arms and the Man", written by George Bernard Shaw, and directed by George Rossiter. The play is the first instalment of George Bernard Shaw's "Plays Pleasant" series. The performance was held on the 9th and the 10th of April, 1969, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes attached flier advertising a music recital with Leon Goossens and John Wight Henderson (possibly given with the programme at the time of the event). Programme also includes note on the Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art written by its principal Raphael Jago, note with photo and signature on director George Rossiter, list of cast with signatures, synopsis of scenes, list of crew from the Webber-Douglas Academy with few signatures, list of crew from Manoel theatre, director's note on the play, list of Manoel theatre Management Committee, and list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre.
