| Abstract: | The Manoel Theatre Orchestra and Chorus Melitensis present the programme for their vocal and instrumental concert, conducted by Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, with chorus instructress Bice Bisazza. The concert also starred baritone singer Victor Gauci, and soprano singer Hilda Mallia Tabone. The concert featured the musical works of Rossini, Haydn, and Fauré. The performance was held on the 30th of March, 1969, at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta. |
| Description: | Two versions of programme included: one standard programme including performer's signatures, and one souvenir programme without signatures. Standard programme includes list of songs including composers and descriptions, list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, and list of forthcoming events at the Manoel theatre. Souvenir programme includes photo of conductor Joseph Sammut, list of Chorus Melitensis Committee 1968-69 members, photo of Chorus Melitensis, list of featured music including composers and descriptions, photos of singers Hilda Mallia Tabone and Victor Gauci, lists of female and male members of Chorus Melitensis, and index to advertisers.
