dc.description.abstractManoel Theatre Orchestra and Chorus Melitensis present the programme for their performance of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's oratorio "Elijah", conducted by Mro. Joseph Sammut, led by George Spiteri, and starring vocalists Antoinette Miggiani (soprano), Josephine Mifsud (mezzo-soprano), Andrew Sapiano (tenor), and Joe Vella Bondin (bass). The Chorus Melitensis was instructed by Bice Bisazza in this concert. The performance was held in aid of the Kidney Machine Fund, on the 13th of November, 1973, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.en_GB
