| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Director of Education present the programme for a concert of Chamber music, performed by Jacqueline Birn on violincello, Sventha Danneberg on violin and viola, Verena Maschat on recorder and percussion, Alexander C. Maschat on oboe and recorder, and John Attard and Joseph Vella on piano. The recital featured the musical works of Joe Vella, Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, Debussy, and Bartók. The performance was held on the occasion of the inauguration of the Government School of Music, on the 1st of April, 1975, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
