| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and La Compagnia Italiana di Operette present the programme for a series of six operettas, starring performers from the Ballet group "Dreams for Play". The operettas performed were the following: "Cin-Ci-La'", "La Vedova Allegra", "La Danza delle Libellule", "Donne Viennesi", "Paese dei Campanelli", and "Principessa della Czarda". The operetta series, which was held as part of the Malta International Arts Festival 1975, was directed by Pasquale Di Lorio, and featured an orchestra directed by Ferruccio Martinelli. The performances were held from the 3rd till the 11th of November, 1975, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
