| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Culture and Welfare, in association with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, present the programme for two concerts performed by the Coro Polifonico di Napoli and the Manoel Theatre Orchestra. The concerts were conducted by Mro. Joseph Grima (who was also the director of Coro Polifonico di Napoli), led by George Spiteri, and starred singers Anna Incoronato (soprano), Loredana Dalla Francesca (mezzo soprano), Domenico Fiorentino (tenor), Giuseppe de Matteis (bass), and Vincenzo de Gregorio (basso continuo). The concerts featured the musical works of Rossini, Scarlatti, Vivaldi, and Mozart. The performances were held on the 26th and the 27th of July, 1980, at Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
