Abstract: | It is known that the Fibonacci sequence, which has been found to apply so often in nature, is defined by an+1 = an + an-1 with the following suffices initial conditions a0 = 0 and a1 = 1. Problem: How many pairs of rabbits will be produced in a year, beginning with a single pair, if in every month each pair bears a new pair, which becomes productive from the second month onwards? |
