Abstract: The aim of this study is to discover the different beliefs about casual sex amongst different generations in Malta. To gather the data for this study, a qualitative approached was taken. Three focus groups were conducted to gather the data, each representing a different generation; theses included Group A (ages 18-25), Group B (ages 26-40) and Group C (ages 41+). The data gathered from these focus groups was analysed using Strauss and Corbin's thematic analysis. The results of this study found several differences as well as similarities between generations regarding their beliefs and perceptions about casual sex.
