| dc.description.abstract | ls-Surmast Joseph Magri twieled Ħal Oormi fit-2 ta' Dicembru 1917 u beda l-karriera mużikali tiegħu bit-tagħlim tal-Klarinett. Ta' 14-il sena daħal fir-"Royal Malta Artillery" bħala "Boy" u sab postu fil-"Royal Artillery (Malta) Band". Fis-sena 1936 rebaħ l-ewwel premju fil-"Pupil's Course" fir-"Royal Military School of Music" f'Kneller Hall fejn ħa l-ewwel premju bħala klarinettista kif ukoll il-"Cousin Memorial Medal". F'dan l-istess kors, Magri ġie l-ewwel ukoll fl-Armonija u ħa l-ewwel premju fl-lnstrumentazzjoni li għamluh bħala l-aħjar mużiċista tas-sena 1937. | en_GB |
