The human body is the expressive palette of our imagination. We act and react, move, stand and behave in conformity with our thoughts, feelings and emotions. I became intrigued by the fact that anything we perceive around us might affect us. I wanted to understand better the cause and effect on the human being as a performer in dance. Where does the rehearsing stop and where does the individual expression and improvisation start? Can the visual surroundings add to or morph into the interrelationship between dance and music? This analysis requires the creation of unique visuals through the use of liquid light shows and the testing of the link between those visuals and the performer. It requires also the testing of improvisation (music and dance) with a few dancers and the analysed male and female interpretation of their movements and feeling. Interviewing performers who tried the experiment and analysing their feedback on the emotions and feelings they experience with this third-link gives us opinionated expectations and results that show the project’s diverse outcomes.en_GB
