Testicular Cancer (TC) is the commonest cancer in males between the ages of 15-35 years. Despite the fact that it is rare, its incidence is increasing worldwide. Even though it is also one of the most curable cancers, prognosis depends on early detection. Studies show that knowledge about this malignancy and about Testicular Self Examination (TSE) is limited. By using an exploratory design, a twenty four-item self administered questionnaire was delivered amongst Maltese factory workers between 25 to 35 years of age. The results show that most of the participants had very limited knowledge about the disease and TSE. The majority of respondents agree that locally, men's health is not given the attention it deserves. Besides, they also stated that if provided, they would attend an educational session about men's health issues including Testicular Cancer (TC). Despite the fact that knowledge does not necessarily result in actual practice, this is an encouraging finding as knowledge might be a predictor of practice. This study highlights the importance this health issue should be given as the availability of knowledge to the most susceptible age group seems to be very limited.en_GB
