| Abstract: | The tenth edition of the Maltex Philatelic Exhibition is now history. It is felt that it would be unethical for one who was involved in the setting up of the Exhibition and furthermore has participated in it to make any comments but surely there is no harm in mentioning that no adverse comments have reached the Committee so far. The Exhibition was held at the "Green Lounge" of the Hotel Phoenicia from 9th to 11th October. It was inaugurated on Thursday 8th by The Hon. Dr. George VellaM.D., M.P (one of our members since 1986 and formerly Minister for Foreign Affairs) and blessed by the Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Agius M.A., S.Th.D. (Leuv). We were pleased to see a number of the members who turned up for the inauguration. [excerpt] |
