One way how to tackle man's deeper impression of existence is to go beyond the mere boundaries of rationality and assert a position that is both here and beyond. Similarly in order to understand Soren Kierkegaard's unrest with life one has to make a leap beyond Kierkegaard. In this dissertation I intend to focus on the prophetic impulse of the Danish author as a re-established convocation that is more of an alter ego to an existential reality than mere metaphysical speculation. Divine knowledge for Kierkegaard grasps the notion of the Divine in the person of Jesus Christ - 'The Absolute Paradox'. It is only through indirect communication that one arrives to the One truth, and this communication, though dialectically indirect is most able and the sole source of unition of man with God.en_GB
