Abstract: | One of the 4c stamps features the "Honey Buzzard" known in Maltese as the "Kuccarda". The other 4c stamp shows the "Marsh Harrier known in Maltese as the "Bughadam Ahmar". One of the 10c stamps depicts the "Eleonora's Falcon", also locally known as the "Bies tar-Regina". The other 10c stamp features the "Lesser Kestrel", also locally known as the "Spanjulett Sekond". Colour checks in the form of coloured discs, 3mm in diameter, are seen in the right hand margin, next to the last stamp of the bottom row, in each sheetlet or Pane of this issue. The colours from top to bottom, correspond to the colours used for Pane numbers (vertically), also from top to bottom, in all sheetlets or Panes, of this issue. [excerpt] |
