Abstract: In the period of less than a century since the death of Karl Marx, Marxism has spread like a bush fire and conquered the inquisitive and unsatisfied minds of teeming millions throughout the world. Although Marx and Marxism have been a popular topic among various writers and scholars, there is room for further research and study. Indeed, as often happens when a subject becomes too popular, the problem of misinterpretation appears. Too many scholars have expounded Marx's doctrine relying heavily on what Engels or other commentators said about Marx and Marxism. Because of this, Marxism has gradually come to mean more than the authentic doctrine of Marx. It includes a collection of ideas based on the opinions of Marx's acquaintances and commentators.
